Varsity prepares for TOUGH WEEK!!!

Posted Sunday, April 16, 2006 by Step Baseball

The Varsity Baseball team prepares for one of its toughest weeks of the season. They stand at 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the CHSAA. The Varsity will play four league games starting off Monday home vs. St. Peters @ 12pm, then travel to rival and undefeated Fordham Prep @ 12pm Tuesday @ Fordham University, then travel out to Staten Island on Wednesday to play power Moore Catholic @ 11am @ The College of Staten Island. The Vasity then plays Spellman on Friday @ home @ 12pm. The Crusaders cap off the week with a huge cross town tournament. They will play in the first round of the White Plains Tournament vs. Number 2 ranked Mahopac @ 11am @ White Plains High School. They will end the week either playing in the consolation game @ 11am or the Championship game @ 2pm Sunday vs. either White Plains or Panas. This may be one of the biggest weeks of the year one of the seniors said. We can take control of th division and keep rolling. The team has to take one day at a time not looking ahead to any of the other opponents because every team is good and every game as a lot of meaning. So the Varsity team will play 6 games in 7 days and it will show what the 2006 team is made of. The team thanks everyone for their continued support and attendance at all of the games!!!

Go Crusaders!!!
